This Privacy Policy describes how Govacha (“Govacha,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information about you when you access or use our website, software platform, applications, community features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Scope and Definitions

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected:

  • Through the Govacha website and platform
  • During account registration and subscription purchase
  • Through platform usage, community features, and support interactions
  • Through emails, notifications, and system communications related to the Service

A. Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account, subscribe, attend training, or interact with the Service, you may provide:

  • Account Information: name, email address, password, business name (if provided), profile details
  • Subscription and Billing Information: billing address, transaction history, subscription plan details

  • Community and Content Submissions: posts, comments, uploads, messages, documents, responses, and other information you choose to provide
  • Support and Communications: information shared when you contact support, submit tickets, or participate in coaching / help channels
  • Preferences: notification settings (daily/weekly/monthly/off), communication preferences, and other account settings

B. Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and Connection Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referral URLs
  • Usage Data: pages viewed, features used, time spent, clicks, interactions, and in-platform activity history
  • Log Data: server logs, error reports, security logs, authentication events, and performance data
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: cookies, pixels, tags, and local storage (see Section 8)

C. Information We Receive From Third Parties

We may receive information from third-party services used to provide the Service, such as:

We do not purchase third-party marketing lists for email sending.

Govacha uses email and in-app notifications as part of service delivery, including:

  • Community announcements related to active membership
  • Training and event reminders for members
  • Project and task notifications generated by platform activity
  • Daily, weekly, or monthly platform digests based on user settings

Users can manage notification preferences inside their account settings. Certain emails (such as security or billing notices) may be required to provide the Service.

C. Customer Support and Service Fulfillment

  • Respond to requests, tickets, and questions
  • Diagnose issues and resolve technical problems
  • Provide user assistance and feature guidance

D. Improve and Secure the Platform

  • Monitor performance and usage trends
  • Debug errors, prevent abuse, and protect platform integrity
  • Detect fraud, phishing, credential abuse, and unauthorized activity
  • Enforce our Terms and protect our community

E. Business Operations

  • Maintain internal records and audit logs
  • Measure growth and platform demand
  • Evaluate and improve onboarding and retention processes

F. Marketing (If and Only If Applicable)

If Govacha sends marketing messages (for example, announcements of new features or offers), these are only sent to users who have a relationship with Govacha (such as registered users or paid members) and can be opted out of where applicable.
We do not send unsolicited cold marketing email

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

A. Service Providers (Vendors)

We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, such as:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Payment processors
  • Email delivery providers

These providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to provide services to Govacha.

5. Email, Messaging, and Anti-Spam Practices

Govacha uses email for service delivery and member fulfillment.

Consent and Source

  • Email recipients are users who create accounts on Govacha and/or purchase subscriptions.
  • We do not use purchased lists, scraped lists, or third-party list brokers.

Deliverability Signals

Email providers may provide event data such as delivered/not delivered, bounce, complaint, unsubscribe, and engagement metrics. We use these signals to maintain platform reliability and reduce spam risk.

Unsubscribe and Preferences

  • Members can adjust digest frequency (daily/weekly/monthly) or disable non-essential notifications in account settings.
  • Where required, promotional messages include an unsubscribe mechanism.
  • Transactional emails (security, billing, required service notices) may continue as needed to deliver the Service.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Service
  • Maintain business records and comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
  • Maintain security logs and prevent abuse

Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
